Views Color Scales

Views Color Scales automatically adds Excel-style color gradients to numeric fields in Views. Transform boring numbers into visual insights - sentiment scores, performance metrics, and ratings instantly become color-coded for at-a-glance understanding.

Post-Installation

Getting started is simple:

1. Enable the module - No initial configuration needed
2. Edit any View containing numeric data (Structure > Views > Edit)
3. Click on any numeric field to configure it
4. Look for "Color Scale" options in the field settings (appears automatically)
5. Check "Enable Color Scale" to activate the feature
6. Save and see results - Your numbers now have color gradients!

Configuration options per field:

• Enable Color Scale - Turn on/off per field
• Auto-detect min/max - Let the module find your data range (recommended)
• Manual min/max values - Set specific thresholds for consistent scaling
• Color selection - Customize minimum (red) and maximum (green) colors

Pro tips:

• Start with auto-detect to see your data distribution
• Switch to manual ranges for consistent thresholds across multiple Views
• Different fields can have different color schemes
• All standard numeric formatting (decimals, prefix/suffix) still works
