This module applies Workbench Access logic to Drupal menus, allowing administrators to control who can edit menus and menu links based on assigned access sections. It restricts access to menu links on node forms to only those the editor can access.
Workbench Menu Access is an extension module that applies Workbench Access logic to menus.
This module adds access controls to menu editing and the menu links within a specific menu, both in stand-alone and node-editing contexts.
Features
- Allows administrators to assign a Workbench Access control scheme to users for access to menus and menu links.
- Allows each menu to be assigned to one or more access control sections.
- Ignores access rules if a menu is not assigned to a Workbench Access section.
- Will not allow editors with 'administer menus' permission to access, edit, or delete menus or menu links within unassigned menus.
- Will restrict access to menu links on node forms to only those accessible to the editor. Presents notices to editors when a menu item cannot be changed.
