When and why would someone use this module?
Anyone who has a website maintains it for a specific purpose. Whether it's a non-profit organization, a freelancer, a service company or a trade organization, everyone needs to interact with site visitors in one way or another. If you want to take such interaction to a new level, then you need this module.
Of course, you can use standard methods, but if you want all the tools to be in one place (website, contacts, leads, deals, etc.) without connecting other systems, then this module will be enough for you.
What use cases are there?
- You can use a regular CRM system and create the entire chain manually.
- It can be used in combination with the Trinion Mail and Trinion Telephony modules to automatically receive emails and record phone calls.
- It can be used as part of the Trinion ERP system, where you can not only keep records of communications with the client, but also create orders, shipments, account for financial transactions, and keep inventory records.
Post-Installation
How does this module actually work once I install it?
The necessary types of content are being created:
- Leads
- Contacts
- Companies
- Deals
Taxonomies are being created, which you need to fill out:
- The method of entry of the lead
- Lead processing status
- Deal status
The necessary interface appears on your site and you can start working.
Should I go to a config page?
Only taxonomies need to be filled in.
Should I look for a new content type?

How it works
The site visitor fills out a contact form, this form is saved in the node Lead. Next, the node Lead can be converted into a contact or company. Then, based on the contact or company, you can create a deal that can be converted into a Estimate. The Estimate can be converted into a Sales order, on the basis of which an Invoice can be made.
It is not necessary to use all the functionality, it can be used, for example, only to collect contact data and further use them.
Settings
There are 2 settings in this module that are available to the system administrator. All module settings are made from the Drupal Configuration menu.
- The number from which the numbering of Transactions will begin. This setting is responsible for the initial transaction number, from which further automatic numbering of transactions will begin.
- A list of users to whom a notification about a new lead will be sent. This setting is responsible for assigning users to whom an email will be sent using the Trinion Mail module, stating that a new lead has appeared in the system.
The setting allows you to assign multiple users at once, specifying them separated by commas.
