Linkit Media Library
This project adds a button to the Link dialog within Drupal's editor, allowing users to easily select or upload media directly from the Media Library when creating links. This integration streamlines the process of linking to documents and other media items without leaving the editor.
Linkit Media Library adds a Media Library button to the Link dialog allowing the insertion of links from the media library.
When installed, the module will update the default Linkit profile to add a media matcher, if one is not already added. If you want to limit the media bundles that show in the media library, you can control this by updating the bundles in the media matcher.
This module greatly improves the user experience of linking to documents in CKEditor. With it, you can use the media library to select or upload a new document (or other media type) without having to leave the CKEditor (or switch from the Media embed button back to the Link button).
Linkit Media Library is compatible with Linkit 8.x-5.x and 6.0.x (but not 8.x-4.x).
