This module enhances Linkit by allowing editors to find content and media entities by their ID, in addition to the standard title search. It supports prefix matching for IDs and seamlessly integrates with existing Linkit profiles.
Adds ID-based search to Linkit's Content and Media autocomplete matchers. Editors can type a node or media ID — including just the leading digits — to find content, in addition to the standard title/name search.

Search Content and Media by entity ID, not just title/label
Prefix matching: typing 5 matches IDs 5, 50, 512, etc.
Autocomplete label switches to show the ID when searching by ID, and the title when searching by name
Drop-in: overrides Linkit's existing entity:node and entity:media matchers, so no changes are needed to your existing Linkit profiles
Respects existing matcher settings — bundle restrictions and unpublished-content configuration work the same as stock Linkit

Post-installation
Enable the module. Any Linkit profile already using the Content or Media matcher will support ID search automatically — no profile configuration changes required.
