freedom
You should have freedom on your Drupal website – it's yours to make how you wish. This project aims to regain that freedom when other module developers have not respected it. Currently it covers one case: remove the Commerce Inbox.
We have become accustomed to adverts, newsletter subscribe boxes on websites we visits; unwanted email sign-ups whenever we purchase something. It was a sad day when I visited my own site and found the same. I had been subscribed to a "Commerce Inbox" against my wishes and without my consent. My site had apparently already connected out to the module developer's server and downloaded their feed. Nagging links to this new feature were prominently grabbing my attention. There wasn't any way to remove short of editing my settings.php, a task which many small DIY site owners likely can't do.
