This module allows you to easily display one or more YouTube videos from any channel on your website using a block. You can either specify individual video IDs or have the block automatically display the latest video published by a particular YouTube channel. This feature utilizes the free YouTube Data API v3 when fetching the latest videos.

With this module you can easily place a single or multiple Youtube videos from any channel on your website via a block. It works by adding a Channel ID or a Video ID to a predefined block called 'Youtube Latest Block'.

Once the module is enabled the block becomes available in Structure->Block layout and can be added to any page you want to display Youtube videos on.

You can also get the latest video published by a Youtube Channel. Once configured with every page refresh the Youtube channel will be checked for a more recent video.

Blocks that use the Channel ID to get the latest video use the free YouTube Data API v3. Blocks that are configured to use a Video ID do not use the API.

Install like any other module. Once you enable it:

To display the latest video you will need to sign up and create a project at Google Cloud, go to API's and Services, click the enable API's and services button, enable YouTube Data API v3. Follow the directions to Get API Key Save the API Key in configuration for Youtube Latest Block -> /admin/config/youtube_latest_block. If you are just adding a video to a page you only need to add the block, select video and put in the video ID.

When configuring the block for latest or multiple videos using a Channel ID you will need to get the Channel ID from the Youtube Channel and save it in the blocks Channel ID field. Heres a tutorial on how to find the Channel ID. You can add as many blocks as you need to any page for different channels or more videos.
