xClaro (Claro Dark)

Admin Theme in 11.4

The new Admin Theme (aka Gin) is now available in Drupal 11.4.x, which support light and dark display modes.

While some users prefer a darker interface than what the Admin Theme dark mode provides, xClaro may not receive any update to support a darker Admin Theme in dark mode. Final decision has not been made.

Gin to replace Claro (older note)

This project is minimally maintained until Gin is moved to Core.

Post-Installation

After enabling the xClaro module (Admin > Extend):

1. Navigate to Appearance settings.
2. Ensure Claro is the active administration theme.
3. Enjoy the automatic application of the dark color scheme—no additional configuration required.

Additional Requirements

xClaro requires:

• Claro must be set as the administration theme.

No additional dependencies or external libraries are needed.

We support Drupal CMS. Make sure to switch the administration theme to Claro and enable this module.
