Varbase AI Media Base

Lets editors generate images, SVGs and documents with AI from the Media Library, with the AI Media module.

The recipe adds three media types: Generated image with AI, offered in the Featured image fields and in Insert Media; Generated SVG with AI, sanitised; and Generated document with AI, as PDF, Word, Markdown or text, both in Insert Media. Each tab reads Generate … with AI and sits right after Image, each type carries the view modes of its non-AI counterpart, stores its files under ai-generated/YYYY-MM and is translatable, and the editorial roles get the permission to generate media.

It needs default AI providers for text to image (images) and chat (SVGs and documents). AI Media has no release yet, so this is experimental. Configuration only, no custom code.

Best used with Varbase Starter site template.

Can be installed with any Drupal CMS ~2.0 or Drupal Core ~11 site. Even if installed with the Minimal or Standard profile.

However, using it with Varbase gives you way much more cool stuff!
