Digital Analytics Program
This module integrates the U.S. Government's Digital Analytics Program (DAP) JavaScript into your Drupal site. It allows you to track website usage according to federal government standards and can either load the script from the official CDN or host it locally.
This module integrates the U.S. Government's Digital Analytics Program (DAP) JavaScript which is provided by the General Services Administration (GSA) Digital.gov. Prior to the 3.x branch the module was named "US Fed Government Google Analytics."
Once the module is installed, navigate to /admin/config/services/dap and configure the settings for the module. At a minimum you must set a value for the Agency before the JavaScript will be attached to pages.
You may choose to have the DAP CDN serve the JavaScript for your site (default) or to host the JavaScript from local files that are included with the module.
Version 3.x
The 3.x branch of the module brings it up to the latest standards provided by DAP version 8.5.0, which was released on 12/30/2024. This required a major rewrite of code and configuration. Some of the older settings provided by the module were incompatible with their DAP data types. This was the reason for the new major version of the module. You will need to review and update these settings in order to ensure you are capturing the data you expect. Please read the release notes before upgrading for more information. Post an issue in the queue if you discover any problems.
