This module helps in creating new rules to validate user name, like disallowing numbers, allowing certain special characters (_ - .), blocked words as well as setting up minimum /maximum characters limit. This also provides ajax validations as optional configuration.

Custom username validation was good module but it is very difficult for non-tech people to provide pattern.
