TOTHOM Slider allows you to create accessible and customizable sliders or carousels directly from the Drupal admin interface. You can build sliders using nodes or Views and manage their appearance and behavior, including options for autoplay and responsive breakpoints, before placing them on your site as blocks. This module offers an accessible-first approach with ARIA controls and advanced configuration for featured content, galleries, or any curated list.

TOTHOM Slider provides accessible, highly configurable sliders/carousels for Drupal, powered by Splide.js. The name "TOTHOM" comes from a Catalan word that means "everyone", a small nod to inclusivity that fits right in with an accessible-first slider.

You create sliders in the admin UI and place them as blocks. The recommended block is "TOTHOM Slider", which lets you choose a slider from a dropdown and avoids block-definition cache issues.

TOTHOM Slider stands out for:

  • Accessibility-first options and ARIA controls.
  • Direct integration with Views Embed displays.
  • Advanced Splide configuration (including breakpoints and i18n) via the UI.

Features

TOTHOM Slider lets you build accessible sliders from the admin UI and reuse them as blocks.

It’s ideal for featured content, galleries, products, or any curated list. It supports nodes and Views (Embed), autoplay, breakpoints, custom classes, i18n, and multilingual configuration.

Use it when you want a flexible, accessible carousel without custom code.

Post-Installation

After installing:

  1. Go to Admin → Content → Sliders and create a new slider.
  2. Choose a content source (Nodes or Views).
  3. Configure Splide options (layout, navigation, autoplay, breakpoints, etc.).
  4. Place it using the “TOTHOM Slider” block.

Additional Requirements

  • Modules: views (core).
  • External library: Splide.js (must be installed in web/libraries as described in the README).
  • Views (already required) to build dynamic sliders from listings.
  • Layout Builder if you want to place sliders in complex layouts.

Similar projects

Other Splide.js-based Drupal modules include Simple Slideshow (Splide JS) and Splidebox. TOTHOM Slider targets more configuration options and accessibility controls, so the best choice depends on how much flexibility you need.
