TMGMT LATW Cloud (AI Translation)

Connects Drupal's Translation Management Tool (TMGMT) to LATW Cloud, a service that translates content, configuration and interface strings with AI.

The module is a connector. The AI model, credits or your own API key, prompt, glossary, budgets and target languages are managed in the LATW Cloud panel, where translations are ordered. Drupal stays the source of truth for content and the state of its translations.

Features

• Content: any translatable entity type and bundle (nodes, taxonomy terms, media…), with embedded entities such as Paragraphs translated together with their parent.
• Configuration: configuration entities and simple configuration through tmgmt_config.
• Interface strings: saved as customized translations, so .po imports do not overwrite them.
• Translations are saved through TMGMT jobs and accepted automatically.
• Respects Content Moderation: new translations get the matching workflow state.
• Every request in both directions is signed with the site's secret (HMAC-SHA256).

Requirements

• Drupal 10.3 or 11, PHP 8.1+ with OpenSSL
• TMGMT with tmgmt_content and Content Translation
• Optional: tmgmt_config + config_translation (configuration), locale (interface strings)
• A LATW Cloud account

External service

This module integrates with LATW Cloud (https://app.latw.ai), a third-party commercial service. Nothing is sent before an administrator clicks "Connect with LATW". Connecting sends the site address, its languages and the administrator's e-mail address. After that, LATW Cloud reads only the content chosen for translation in its panel and writes the translations back.

Getting started

1. Install the module. It creates the TMGMT provider "LATW Cloud".
2. Go to Translation → Providers → LATW Cloud (/admin/tmgmt/latw) and click Connect with LATW.
3. Order translations in the LATW Cloud panel (Content tab).
