This module allows you to select a depth or a depths range from your taxonomy tree items for your field in the "Manage form display" section.
The main idea of this module is to have the ability to set this the range only on the field config form and at the moment to create/edit and entity that has the taxonomy entity reference field when you need a reference term that has multiple values of depth but you only need to allow some specific depth or depths range.
Until now it's only a simple select list and checkboxes/radio buttons widgets but in the near future, the idea is to extend to autocomplete.
