tab_title_attention
Customizable animations for the <title> tab value, once it loses focus or becomes inactive.
The Tab Title Attention module shows a customizable animation in the browser tab title once the tab has been unfocused for a while. Let your personal message appear, blink or scroll through the browser tab title to regain user engagement and keep them coming back to your site. You may also control who is able to customize and/or view your message.
Important note on coditions Core bug
The module is currently affected by this core bug: #2783897: Current theme condition plugin should provide an option to match all themes and introduce checkboxes
Until it's fixed, you'll have to select your theme for the conditions to apply as expected!
Requirements
This module requires no modules outside of Drupal core.
Installation
Install as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module. For further information, see Installing Drupal Modules.
Configuration
- In order to activate the module's functionality, navigate to Configuration » User interface » Tab Title Attention settings and activate as well as configure the animation.
- You can choose both who can edit the animation settings and who the animation will be shown to in the module permissions at People » Permissions.
