This module is maintained by Ukrainian developers.
Please consider supporting Ukraine in a fight for their freedom and safety of Europe.

The Social feed fetcher module allows your site to fetch the data from various social media platforms including:

  • Facebook (Meta)
  • Instagram (Meta)
  • LinkedIn (Microsoft)
  • Twitter/X
  • Mastodon

Content is stored as nodes which allows you to use the content in any way or form you would do with any other piece of content.

Version 4.0.x

The 4.0.x-dev branch is a complete overhaul of the configuration and API integration and is not compatible with the 3.0.x-dev release. There is no upgrade path foreseen. You will need to re-configure the API credentials manually as the previous tokens are no longer working anyway.

It is recommended to delete all data, the node content type "Social post" and uninstall the module before upgrading to the 4.0.x release. Any custom view/block/template will need to be revisited as the content type was renamed.

Extending the module

The configuration form and all fetching logic is based on plugins, which allows developers to duplicate, extend or change the logic in their own custom module.

If you want to contribute a new feed provider please create a pull request in the issue queue.

Configuration

This module has a menu or modifiable settings. There is a configuration link for this which you can access at admin/config/social_feed_fetcher_settings.

When enabled and configured properly, this module will display the Social feed fetcher form at admin/config/social_feed_fetcher_settings, after this step you can use the nodes Social posts from Drupal system to show the feeds from their respective services.
