Sites clone

Sites clone creates a new site of the Sites platform from an existing one: its settings, its content and the links of its per-site menus.

Features

• The clone gets the source's site type, settings and per-site configuration, like the site information, in every language.
• Content follows a clone method per content type: ignore it, share it with the source, or copy it.
• The links of the per-site menus are copied. A link to a copied item points at the copy.
• Each site keeps its cloning rules as a site setting, with defaults from its site type.
• Other modules can add clone methods as plugins.

Post-Installation

Clone a site with the Clone tab on its dashboard, the Clone operation in the sites list, or drush sites:clone. The clone starts disabled.

Additional Requirements

Drupal 11.2 or later, or Drupal 12, with Sites and its Sites menu and Sites UI submodules.
