How this differs from the established siteimprove module?
Siteimprove provides the classic Siteimprove CMS sidebar/overlay inside Drupal, surfacing multiple products (Accessibility, QA, SEO, Policies, etc.) and “Recheck” flows during editing.
Siteimprove Accessibility is accessibility-only, using Siteimprove’s latest automated engine to highlight & remediate accessibility issues right where editors work.
Can they run together?
Yes. They are complementary: keep siteimprove for the multi-product sidebar and use siteimprove_accessibility for in-editor accessibility remediation

Post-Installation
After module has been installed you may configure with the following options:
Settings form path: /admin/config/siteimprove_accessibility/settings
Manual Scans
- Toggle: enable_manual_scans
- Default: Enabled
- Effect: Shows/hides manual scan button
Preview Auto-Scan
- Toggle: preview_auto_scan
- Default: Enabled
- Effect: Automatically scans during node preview
