Similar By Reference

Forked from the Similar By Terms, this module uses an entity reference field (rather than the taxonomy index) to count shared references between entities and create a similarity score in a view.

Advantages over Similar By Terms

• not restricted to taxonomy term references
• could be expanded to work for more than just node views

Known Limitations

• cannot use multiple Similar by reference contextual filters on the same view
• only compares entities of the same entity type
• only compares entities of different bundles if they share the same reference field
• not designed for Dynamic Entity Reference fields or Entity Reference Revision fields
