This module allows you to add custom sorting options to your Search API searches, letting you choose which fields to sort by and their default order. It also provides a block for global sorting configurations.

Compatibility
This module is compatible with Search API, Search API ranges (slider), Search API Solr and Search API ajax. Is not tested with Apache Solr Integration module.

NOTE: For the D8 version search_api 8.x-1.16 or higher is required
New in D8: You can now configure sorts for each "search api display" (e.g. each views page using the index), where the d7 version only allows configuring on a global "search api index"-base.
