Scribit Pro
Scribit Pro is a Drupal module that helps make videos accessible by adding features like subtitles, audio descriptions, and text alternatives. It provides tools to embed videos and use a player that complies with web accessibility guidelines, benefiting users with various disabilities and improving the experience for all.
Scribit Pro allows you to easily add subtitles, audio description and text alternatives to your video in full compliance with the guidelines for digital web accessibility according to the WCAG 2.1.
Scribit Pro provides a platform to make your videos more accessible to people with disabilities such as blindness or a visual impairment, deafness or a hearing impairment, limited freedom of movement, speech disorders, sensitivity to light, and combinations of these. They are also helpful for people with learning or cognitive disorders. In fact, following the guidelines often makes web content more useful for users in general.
This module provides a field widget and field formatter that enables you to submit embedded video’s directly to Scribit Pro and to display embedded video’s using the Scribit Pro video player.
