This module automatically enrolls users into groups based on attributes provided by SAML authentication. It can assign users to specific groups, all groups of a certain type, and optionally assign them a role within those groups.
Map SAML attributes to group membership from the Group module using the SAML Authenication module. A user can become a member of a single group or member of all groups for a given type. They can also optionally be given a role within that group.
Features
- SAML attribute based Group memberships
- Group roles based on SAML attributes
Post-Installation
Once installed, go to the SAML Authenciation module's configuration page and use the Group/Membership tab to set your attribute mappings to group memberships.
Additional Requirements
Requires the Group module and the SAML Authenication module.
The module branches follow the major version of the Group module for compatibility. E.g 2.x works with Group 2, 3.x works with Group 3, etc
