Drupal 11 Compatibility: Provus 2.3.0 is fully compatible with Drupal 11. We recommend using version 2.3.0 or higher for all new builds and migrations targeting Drupal 11.

Overview

Provus is a Drupal kickstarter distribution from Promet, that provides pre-configured Drupal blocks (components), which integrate with Layout Builder, enabling clients to easily create and update rich, full-featured landing pages without any coding expertise.
Customizable content models are stored in a library that serves as an efficient starting point for site builds.

What’s different with Provus 2.0? We have moved away from Ember and Storybook and leverage Drupal’s ability for creating distributions. This now enables Promet to maintain a central upstream that can facilitate the deployment of critical updates.

Clients are now able to select only the features that they need, with the option of enabling or disabling Provus features (modules) at a later point through the extend admin page.

Provus Base Theme

Provus 2.0 utilizes Bootstrap Barrio as its parent theme.

This allows us to use, and override any default Bootstrap variables, such as colour pallets, breakpoints, container widths, mixins, templates and more.

This allows the Provus 2.0 theme to be slim on install, but have the flexibility to adjust and add overrides as you build out your site.
