Site administrators may want to be notified if important things are going on within their Drupal sites but concerned that too many duplicate notifications will just overwhelm them and the exercise will turn into a counter-productive result.

Alerta is a great, open source alert dashboard with excellent deduplication functionality.

This module extends the Push Framework and pushes notifications to your own Alerta instance. It works great together with DANSE when you enable the DANSE Log submodule which then pushes every log entry to Alerta which is above the error threshold.

It's incredible what's been exposed to our devops team by the combination of Alerta and DANSE which we now install on ANY Drupal site to then clear out all those otherwise unnoticed errors that come from either real issues or improperly tested third party modules.
