This module allows you to embed Panopto videos as media items within your Drupal site. It provides a formatter for displaying these videos in media fields and can also be used with CKEditor.
The Panopto Media Remote extends the Media Remote module with the ability to add Panopto videos as media items. It provides a Panopto formatter so users can embed Panopto videos in media entity fields and also embed via ckeditor.
Steps to add Panopto as a media formatter:
- Enable the Panopto Media Remote module.
- Go to media types page and add a new media type. Choose custom name (e.g. Panopto) and select "Remote Media Url" as the media source.
- Go to "Manage dislay" for the newly created media type and select "Remote Media - Panopto" as the formatter.
- Now you can add a media field to any content type and select the new media type.
