Security covered
Drupal 10–11
This module allows administrators to control access to individual content pages by specifying which users or roles can view or edit them. It provides granular permissions on a per-node basis.
This module is unsupported due to a security issue the maintainer didn’t fix. See Page Access - Unsupported - SA-CONTRIB-2017-75 for details.
If you want to use this module, your options are:
- Choose another, actively maintained module instead
- File an issue in the queue with a patch to fix the module and then contact the security team to have your version reviewed and the project handed over to you following the unsupported project process.
- Hire someone to fix the security bug so the module can be re-published and supported (Consider hiring companies listed in the Marketplace)
This module will provide the option to give the View and Edit access for users and roles on each node pages.
- Enable page access control (By enabling this option the particular page will not be accessible to anonymous users, will be accessible only by selecting the following condition.)
- Add users, who can view or update.(User level permission for each node page.)
- Select user roles, who can view or update.(Role level permission for each node page.)
- Download and Enable the module like any other contributed module
- After enabling, "PAGE ACCESS SETTINGS" will be available for any "Add Content"(node) or "Edit" of any exiting node content.
- Then rebuild permission from /admin/content
