OpenBusiness Profile

OpenBusiness is a customizable, responsive, and lightweight Drupal installation profile. It comes by default styled with more than 20 components. All the colors can be changed as well as the default pictures. Its primary purpose is to serve as a base for any presentation website you might want to create.

Installing the profile
In order to install the OpenBusiness profile, please follow the below steps:
1. Download a ^8.7.7 or ^9 version of Drupal.
2. Download OpenBusiness profile.

• Via Download tar.gz / zip

Extract archive to profiles folder from your Drupal root directory and rename openbusiness folder to openbusiness_profile.

• Via Composer

Composer will download the profile folder into root/modules/contrib/openbusiness. You need to rename openbusiness folder to openbusiness_profile and move it to profiles folder from your Drupal root directory.

• Via Git

In your profiles folder insert git clone command with openbusiness_profiles parameter at the end of the command.
Example: git clone --branch x [email protected]:project/openbusiness.git openbusiness_profile

3. Run composer update into root/profiles/openbusiness_profile folder.
4. Open your browser and go to your url, Select OpenBusiness profile at Select an installation profile step. Complete the remaining steps using the wizard.

Changing the color scheme
OpenBusiness is compatible with the Color module provided by Drupal’s core. You will be able to change the color for the following elements: Body Background (Gradient background compound by Secondary and Background colors), Logo, Headings, Menus elements, Buttons background, Footer, Text and Hover.

Translation
OpenBusiness is built with the idea of being able to reach as many people as possible, therefore, everything is translatable using the Drupal interface.

Components
OpenBusiness uses “Paragraphs” as an easy way to customize pages. We've styled the following components: File attachments, Block quote, Paragraph with basic Text, Paragraph with an image (left or right), Carousel of images, Image list For more information or help, visit the project homepage. For power users, we have more advanced components styled that you can use in your custom templates for views, nodes or blocks. These are: Tooltips, Buttons, Dropdown, Alerts, Tags, Pagers, Modals.

Known issues
If you're using the profile on a Windows machine and after installation the layout looks broken you need to deactivate and activate again 'Aggregate CSS files' in Configuration -> Performance and clear cache.
