Open Banking

Open Banking reads the balances and transactions of bank accounts through Open Banking (PSD2) aggregators and keeps them on the site as entities. Each aggregator is a plugin; the first one is Enable Banking.

Features

• Connect an account through the bank's own consent page: the module sends the account holder to the aggregator and receives the authorization on its own route.
• Accounts, balances and transactions stored as entities, in the ISO 20022 terms the aggregators return (account types such as CACC, balance types such as ITAV and CLBD, remittance information).
• Scheduled reads on cron, within the four daily reads banks allow without the account holder present, without storing a transaction twice.
• An email before an authorization expires, with a link to renew it.
• Tool API tools that read accounts, balances and transactions, so AI agents and MCP clients get them under the site's permissions.

Scope

The module only reads accounts. It does not initiate payments.
