The Okta User Sync module allows you to synchronize users and map user attributes during CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, simplifying user management in applications. Additionally, the module supports bi-directional synchronization ensuring seamless data exchange between Okta and your Drupal site.

Key Features:

Automatic / Real Time Provisioning (Drupal to Okta)

  • Automatic synchronization of users between Drupal and Okta in real-time.
  • Users are provisioned as soon as a CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operation is performed on the Drupal site.

Manual / On-demand Provisioning (bi-directional)

  • Allows provisioning a single user as well as all of the existing users.
  • Allows to provision users on an as-needed basis in real-time without waiting for the CRON to run.
  • Can be used for troubleshooting purposes as well.

Scheduler / CRON-based Provisioning (bi-directional)

  • Provisioning of users can be scheduled on a CRON of the system.
  • Also allows the creation of custom schedules for provisioning.

User Profile Attribute / Fields Mapping

  • Mapping of attributes such as name, email, and other information from Okta to the corresponding user's profile in Drupal.
  • Customizing attributes you want to map and sync.

Reporting and Troubleshooting (Audits and Logs)

  • Type of operation performed. (e.g. creating a new user, updating an existing user, etc.)
  • Status of the operation. (e.g. successful or failed)
  • All the above information is tabulated and easily accessible in a dedicated tab.
  • Allow you to easily review and audit any changes made to your users.
