n1ed
N1ED is a multi-plugin for CKEditor 4 for doing level-up of your WYSIWYG editor to page builder it should be in 2024. CKEditor 5 is also supported (at this moment File Manager and Image Editor only, full support is planned in 2024).
It connects to those text formats that are configured to work with CKEditor. On the settings page of such a format you receive a convenient visual UI to configure the editor and the dashboard to quickly assess installed add-ons of the N1ED ecosystem. Despite its huge functionality, N1ED does not conflict with other CKEditor plugins, nor Drupal 8 modules, because it organically integrates to your CMS by means of the official CKEditor API for Drupal.
Wherever you use the editor - articles, product cards, other fields or textboxes, it receives a lot of new capabilities.
Drupal 10.2 notice: update N1ED module to the latest version. Otherwise file browsing won't work.
The main thing is N1ED now attached its widgets, Bootstrap layout editor, file manager, and image editor to your CKEditor. Bootstrap blocks building tools are also available. Now when you open some article for edit, you can see your CKEditor is significantly boosted.
Bootstrap Editor
The main concept is editing your articles block by block by choosing them from the gallery or using the block builder feature. You can also create your custom blocks and save them into your personal blocks gallery.
Files and images tools
Images are an essential part of the content.
The component involves all possible functionality to work with media:
uploading files, catalog them, edit images using the Image Editor.
N1ED improves all your image fields by being included in the bundle Flmngr file manager. When you need to attach some image to the article by specialized field, you can browse your server with the file manager and select an existing image or upload a new one. Image Editor is also available.
