An all-embracing and flexible package which includes a mutual credit ledger, super-configurable transaction forms and displays, including several views and blocks. It can be used as a digital back-end for paper money projects, or to run a community web application. Autopayments are possible and periodic payments require a little custom code. Note this is not a blockchain app, all transaction data is stored in the drupal Db.

Community currency projects should find that this module works almost out of the box, but if you have no resources to commit to properly customising such a web site, you should think carefully about whether you have the resources to nurture a new economy! This is not a shop, a cart, or an e-commerce system, but a mutual credit system which tracks credit extended between users.
Contrast with userpoints in which users are awarded points (ex nihilo) when events are triggered.
Community Forge
The main user of the module is the nonprofit Community Forge which offers free hosted sites designed for LETS / Time Banks with its distro.
Versions and architecture
Multiple currencies are handled by v5 but are discontinued in v6. Read up on architecture of v5 for Drupal 8/9. Version 6 internal architecture is based on the Credit Commons Protocol, which enables mutual transactions between sites via a 3rd party 'trunkward' node.
