Masquerade Role
This module allows a single user to test different role permissions without logging out and back in. It's useful for developers and editors to see how content appears under different access levels.
What is the purpose of this module?
This module will enable you to test out different roles, all from one and the same user.
What is the difference between this module and Masquerade?
The Masquerade module changes users completely to a given user, Masquerade Role only swaps out your roles/permissions for the roles you've configured.
This module is mainly useful during development/testing stages, but even afterwards editors can still enjoy viewing the website from a different perspective without the need to swap users.
