This module alerts users when they try to leave a form without saving their changes, preventing accidental data loss. It can be applied to any form on the site.
This module provides a way to show a message on a form
when editing something and leaving without submitting.

But allows you to add the form alert on any form.
In chrome this will say:
"Reload site? Changes that you made may not be saved"
