This module allows the creation of Media assets from Tableau. This allows you to manage data and create visualizations within Tableau and then embed them within Drupal anywhere Media allows, including fields and WYSIWYG.

This module allows embedding visualizations hosted on the public Tableau server and any custom configured server.

Requirements

Installation

  • Media Tableau can be installed via the standard Drupal installation process.
  • Create a new media type, for "Media Source" choose "Remote Media URL".
  • Under "Manage display", select "Remote Media - Tableau" for the "Remote Media URL" field.
  • Optionally, change the display options and API version used from the field display options.
  • By default, only the "public" host server is allowed, but you can choose your own custom server configuring it from Administration > Configuration > Media > Tableau Settings
