Media Entity Browser

This module provides an Entity Browser for Media, inspired by File Entity Browser.

It is essentially a combination of config, css and js to provide a default browser. The heavy lifting is done by the Entity Browser and Inline Entity Form modules.

Which version

8.x-2.x is a branch with support for the core media entity. You should only update to this version if you are using core version. If you are still using contrib version of Media entity keep using 8.x-1.x versions.

Which version should I use?

If you are using core media, the 2.x branch is compatible:

composer require drupal/media_entity_browser:^2.0

If you are using media_entity in contrib, the 1.x branch is compatible but unsupported:

composer require drupal/media_entity_browser:^1.0
