This module integrates Drupal with Mailchimp's transactional email service to send important notifications like order confirmations and password resets. It leverages Mailchimp's robust infrastructure for reliable delivery, reporting, and spam compliance. Additional submodules provide email activity reports for specific entities, an administrative dashboard for email statistics, and the ability to style emails using Mailchimp templates.
Mailchimp Transactional Email is for transactional emails, like store updates, password resets, shipping confirmations, or anything related to a visitor's actions on your Drupal site.
For sites with a significant amount of email, using a transactional email service is a great way to get modern analytics and reporting, spam compliance features, scale email to bulk levels, and have your email delivered more reliably.
This module plugs into Drupal's Mail System, which can be configured to use Mailchimp Transactional to send any or all emails.
Activity
The activity submodule can attach a report to any entity with an email field, which will show email activity for that specific address over the last 7 days.
Reports
The reports submodule provides a Dashboard and Account Summary to the Admin > Reports section of Drupal. This allows admins to see volume, open and click rates, and more account stats right from Drupal.
Templates
The template submodule allows you to use Mailchimp Templates to style your emails, including configuring per-template keys to link them with specific modules or needs within Drupal. Currently, only a single template area can be populated with Drupal-generated content.
