The main purpose of this module is to display a file/folder in formatter of link field.
If you have a folder located at files/folder_For_Share/level1/level2 and you want viewers only see the files/folders you want exemple folder level1, level2.
In the widget field, select the field link with this widget
Then in the add/edit form in the link field you see a file explorer button to select a file/folder on files/folder_to_share. just right-click on the folder and select "add folder".

Certainly, you can configure the file path in the widget settings, in display mode formatter they can show folder list.
This module use libaries jQuery File Browser for the file browser.

How to use:

  • Add link field.
  • Select "Link with File browser" in widget.
  • In the widget configuration you need to indicate the folder to share by default
  • Create content in the field link, you will see the "file browser" button.
  • Select file/folder you want to add.
  • Right click for add folder
  • In formatter you can select "Link with File browser" to show popup files browser you can check option openfile with google viewer

In formatter. If you use with bootstrap 5 theme it will show all folders/Files in modal when you click the link

  • For add block.
  • Add block "file browser" if you want show share files in block.
  • Select file/folder you want to share.
  • Right click for add folder
