This module integrates the lightGallery JavaScript library to provide image and video lightbox galleries within Drupal. It offers field formatters for image and media fields and can integrate with Views for creating custom galleries.

The provided features and dependencies differ based upon the version you install.
2.x
A complete rewrite based on lightGallery 2.x (which requires a license). It provides various field formatters for both image and media fields.
Note that there's no upgrade path from 8.x-1.x to 2.x.
Except for the lightGallery library there are no other dependencies.

8.x-1.x
Uses the deprecated 1.x version of the lightGallery library. It provides a views integration and field formatter for image fields.
