KERN UX Components for Drupal Canvas

This project provides Drupal SDC (Single Directory Components) based on the KERN UX-Standard — the open-source design system developed for German public administration, covering municipal to federal level.

KERN defines accessible, consistent, and citizen-friendly UI components designed to meet the digital accessibility and usability requirements of German government services. This module brings those components into Drupal as reusable, standards-compliant SDCs, fully compatible with Drupal Canvas for visual no-code page building.

All components are built with strict JSON Schema props and standard SDC slot definitions — ensuring they appear correctly in the Canvas editor with proper settings panels, editable slots, and live preview. No UI Patterns-specific schema extensions are used, keeping components universally compatible across the Drupal component ecosystem.
