This module adds a dedicated text area to image fields, allowing users to include captions that can display text or HTML descriptions alongside images. When configuring the display of an image field, you can select the "Image with caption" formatter to enable this feature.
Adds an extra text area for captions on image fields.
Similar to the alt and title text fields available with an image field, the caption text area can be used to enter text or HTML descriptions of an image.

Usage
- Add or configure an image field:
- Add a new image field to a content type or edit an existing one.
- On the "Manage display" tab, set the field format to "Image with caption".
- Enable the caption field:
- Check the "Enable Caption field" checkbox in the field settings.
- Add or edit content:
- Create or edit a node or entity with the configured image field.
- Enter text or HTML into the caption text area and select the desired text format.
- Save and view:
- Save the entity and view it to see the caption displayed with the image.
