iDigit Gov chatbot adapter adds an accessible chat widget and a provider plugin API. It ships one provider: a generic HTTPS webhook. No AI service is included or implied: with the default provider none, nothing is shown and the endpoint refuses requests.
It is a community contribution by iDigit. It is not an official DGA product and is not endorsed by DGA.
What it does
- Chat widget: launcher, panel with header and status, suggested questions and a message field; right-to-left aware.
- Provider plugin API (
#[ChatbotProvider]); a webhook provider that POSTs{"message", "session"}and expects{"reply":"..."}. - Operations: permission and CSRF header token for authenticated sessions, JSON validation, length limits, per-client flood control, strict timeouts, no redirects, response size cap, circuit breaker, and structured logging without message content.
- The backend secret is read from
settings.php. - Arabic translation included.
Privacy
Messages are passed to your backend and are not stored by this module. Tell visitors who receives their messages; the data handling of your provider is your responsibility.
Related projects
