Hazelchat adds your AI chat agent to every public page of your Drupal site. The agent answers visitors from the pages and documents you approved, shows the sources under every answer and passes enquiries on to you. You set up the agent in Hazelchat; this module only puts it on your pages.
Features
- Paste the installation code from Hazelchat on one settings page (Configuration » Web services » Hazelchat). Only its public key is saved; anything else is refused.
- One script tag in the head of public HTML pages. Administration pages and feeds never load the chat.
- Works with Klaro!: the module adds a "Hazelchat" service (Live chat), so Klaro holds the chat back until a visitor accepts it.
- Optional "Wait for my consent manager" for other consent tools.
- Settings page in English and German. No database tables, no JavaScript of its own, no requests from Drupal to Hazelchat.
Requirements
- Drupal 10.3 or later, or Drupal 11.
- A Hazelchat account. This module relies on the hosted Hazelchat service: visitors' browsers load the chat from app.hazelchat.co, and Hazelchat processes what they type into it (privacy notice, terms). The Free plan covers one website and stays free.
Installation
composer require drupal/hazelchat drush en hazelchat
Then paste your installation code under Configuration » Web services » Hazelchat. Step-by-step guide: hazelchat.co/integrations/drupal.
