This module enhances logging by adding context such as a request ID to log entries. It aims to improve the ability to correlate logs by including metadata extracted from request headers or generated when absent.
The GovNL Logging module adds monolog processors and a formatter along with a Sentry EventSubscriber in order to add more context to logs exported to json (eg. stdout). The purpose is to add a request ID and other metadata to the logging to improve correlation between logs.
The Request ID is extracted from the request's X-Request-Id header. When the header is not available an ID is generated.
