Freja eID for Drupal

The Freja eID module provides seamless integration with the authentication and signing system, enabling users to authenticate themselves or sign documents on your Drupal site using their Freja eID credentials. This module facilitates secure and reliable user verification.

This module is heavily inspired by the module https://www.drupal.org/project/bankid and follows a similar infrastructure (as version 2.x). This makes it easier to for you Drupal site to offer authentication and signing alternative without too much of infrastructure adjustments to your Drupal site.

Requirements

• The Key module
• The External Authentication module (required for freja_eid_login) submodule)
• A Freja eID account, see Freja eID for more information.

Post-Installation

Configure the Freja eID module under Freja eId Settings "/admin/config/system/freja-eid".

Follow the instructions on https://org.frejaeid.com/en/developers-section/

When all certificates are received, upload them to a folder outside of the web
root on the server and Add key "admin/config/system/keys/add" for each. Then add the keys to production environment under Freja eID Settings "/admin/config/system/freja-eid".

Recommended submodules

Depending on if you need authentication and/or signing also install the corresponding submodules "freja_eid_login" and "freja_eid_sign".
