Entity Dialog Formatter

This module provides a formatter for entity reference fields that allows you to display your entities in a dialog.

This module is supporting:

• dialog modal
• only content entities

The module is only based on Drupal core and doesn't need any library for the modal!

Since the modal comes from Drupal core, it is fully accessible.

Features:
- Render your entities in a specific view mode on the page (view mode is configurable)
- Click on an entity will open a dialog with that entity rendered in another view mode (view mode is configurable)
- You can also configure the formatter to display all the referenced entities in the dialog

Common use cases
- Display an article in teaser mode and display it in full mode in a modal when clicking on it
- Opening a video in a modal when clicking on a preview image
- Creating a gallery, display a preview of a media image and display it in full size in a modal when clicking on it.
