The Entity Auto Term module provides the functionality that when a entity is
created, a taxonomy term is generated automatically using its title in any
associated vocabularies.

This is a similar module to NAT (https://drupal.org/project/nat) but it is built for Drupal 8 and will work with all entities.

It currently works with nodes but this won’t be to difficult to add the other entity types

Thanks to University of Surrey (https://surrey.ac.uk) for helping make this possible as this module was required for their project.
