Contextual Filter from Referer

This project aims to be the solution for applying contextual filters to views that are executed during AJAX requests, such as entity reference fields that are filtered by a view. Just enable the module, and use one of the two options provided in the picture, just as you would their counterparts. These options will get the necessary data from the referer URL in the headers, rather than the current URL.

This is a full project that has been created from an unmaintained sandbox project.
