config_purge helps clean up leftover configuration from modules that have been uninstalled. This prevents errors that can occur when trying to install new modules that share configuration names with previously removed ones.
The module provides an option to delete configurations related to already uninstalled modules. This helps to resolve module installation errors when config already exists in the active configuration.
