Config Patch Azure API

This is an output plugin for the Config Patch, that provides the capability to create patch files for configuration differences between the active configuration and the synchronised configuration. It offers a framework for site builders to make configuration changes through the Drupal UI and generate patch files by using the Azure DevOps API. These patch files can then be committed back to the source repository, making it easier to manage configuration changes in a source-driven development workflow.

• Branch Selection:

  Select the source branch for patch creation, providing flexibility and control in managing configuration changes.

• Custom Branch Naming:

  Specify a custom branch name when creating patches to maintain an organised version control workflow.

• Efficient Configuration Management:

  Add, commit, and push configuration changes to the target branch with ease, streamlining the process of updating configurations across different environments.

• Accessible Pull Request Links:

  Generate direct links to Pull Requests, making it simple to access and review proposed changes before merging them into the target branch.

Installation:

• Step 1: Visit /admin/config/config_patch_azure_api/credentials and add your organisation, project name and access token

• Step 2: Visit /admin/config/config_patch_azure_api/repository_branch and select related repository and main branch
