Commerce Domains

No security coverage Under active development

Part of the Commerce ecosystem · 488 projects

Sell domain names with Drupal Commerce. One product per domain, kept in sync with the registrars that hold your names and the marketplaces that list them, and with offers handled on your own site.

Features

  • Domain products. A product trait splits each name into label and extension using the Public Suffix List, so example.co.uk gives example and co.uk. It also records the registrar, expiry date and ownership, and accepts only registrable names as titles.
  • Sale terms per domain. A variation trait sets buy now, accept offers, minimum offer, floor price and lease-to-own. Empty fields fall back to sensible rules.
  • Providers with pluggable APIs. Registrars and marketplaces are config entities; a plugin adds what its API can do:
    • Marketplace and registrar: Atom, Dynadot, GNAME, NameSilo, Spaceship, Unstoppable Domains
    • Marketplace only: Afternic, fruits
    • Registrar only: GoDaddy, IONOS, NameBright, Namecheap, Porkbun
    • Providers without an API (such as Hover) can still be recorded as a domain's registrar.
  • Registrar sync. It reads expiry dates from your registrar accounts. It also reports domains that are missing from awrong registrar. Run it with Drush (commerce-domains:registrar-sync) or daily on cron.
  • Marketplace sync (submodule). It keeps listings in line with the catalog: prices, offers and lease terms, and removing domains that are no longer for sale.
    • Price adjustment: a price factor per marketplace covers its commission.
    • Mid-sale listings: listings a marketplace shows as mid-sale are left alone.
    • Running it: review a dry run in Drush (commerce-domains:marketplace-sync), then push, or push changes automatically on cron.
  • Multi-currency prices. Marketplaces get the variation price, or their own prices from a Commerce Pricelist price list. Other currencies can be converted with Commerce Exchanger.
  • Offers (submodule). Buyers make offers from a block on the product page; you accept, decline or counter from an adm
    • Paying: accepting creates an order at the agreed price, which the buyer pays through checkout from an emailed li>
    • Expiry: unanswered and unpaid offers expire.
    • Site rules: sites can add their own, such as no offers below a price.
  • Escrow.com offers (submodule). With Commerce Escrow, buyers can negotiate on Escrow.com instead, and the offer on your site follows the negotiation.
  • Credentials stay out of config. API keys are set in settings.php, never in exported configuration.
  • Requirements

    • Drupal 11.4 or later, PHP 8.3 or later
    • Commerce 3
    • Optional: Commerce Pricelist, Commerce Exchanger, Commerce Escrow, Drush
